Introductory Algebra: Concepts and Graphs 2e

The first edition published in 2010, so we figured 10 years is time to revise!

*If you use and 1/e and LOVE it, you do NOT need to roll to this 2/e.

Introductory Algebra: Concepts and Graphs 2/e is a traditional, one-semester, textbook for a first course in algebra.  We cover graphing in Chapter 3 and systems of equations are covered in Chapter 7. The last chapters of the book are an introduction to both roots and radicals, and quadratic equations.

  • Chapter 8 has been split into two chapters:

Chapter 8 - ROOTS AND RADICALS

                      Chapter 9 - QUADRATIC EQUATIONS

  • Learning Objectives were added to every chapter.
  • Applications problems were updated, revised, and added to each chapter.
  • Spotlight on Success features added to each chapter offer students a variety of strategies for success.
