The first edition published in 2010, so we figured 10 years is time to revise!
Introductory Algebra: Concepts and Graphs 2/e is a traditional, one-semester, textbook for a first course in algebra. We cover graphing in Chapter 3 and systems of equations in Chapter 7. The last chapters of the book is an introduction to both roots and radicals, and quadratic equations.
- Chapter 8 has been split into two chapters:
Chapter 8 - ROOTS AND RADICALS
Chapter 9 - QUADRATIC EQUATIONS
- Learning Objectives were added to every chapter.
- Applications problems were updated, revised, and added to each chapter.
- Spotlight on Success features added to each chapter to offer students a variety of strategies for success.
