eBooks & Bookshelf
Log in to your XYZ Textbooks account and go to your Bookshelf. Any eBooks you have added to your account will appear there.
If you purchased an All-Access Pass, the pass itself will not appear on your Bookshelf. Your All-Access Pass gives you access to all XYZ eBooks, but you still need to select the individual eBook you want.
Find your eBook on XYZTextbooks.com and add it to your account. It will then appear on your Bookshelf at no additional charge.
If you purchased an individual eBook and don't see it, make sure you're logged in with the same email address you used for your purchase. If you still need help, contact us.
Your All-Access Pass gives you access to all XYZ eBooks, but the books are not automatically added to your Bookshelf.
Find the eBook you need on XYZTextbooks.com and select it. Once you add the book to your account, it will appear on your Bookshelf.
XYZ eBooks are designed to be read online and are not currently downloadable.

If you can see the graph of y = x² below, your browser supports the graphics used in XYZ eBooks. If the graph does not appear, update your browser to the latest version.
Click on the "CONTENTS" button in the upper left hand corner of your window. A panel will slide out displaying the contents of the eBook. Click the links in the CONTENTS panel to navigate the eBook. You need to be logged in and have an All-Access Pass to view all of the eBook's contents.
All-Access Pass & Access Codes
An All-Access Pass gives you 3 years of access to all XYZ eBooks, MathTV videos, and XYZ Homework if your instructor uses it.
You can get an All-Access Pass in several ways:
- Purchase an All-Access Pass directly from XYZ Textbooks.
- Purchase a new XYZ textbook that includes an All-Access Pass.
- Purchase access through your college bookstore or your school's digital course-materials program, when available.
- If you have an access code, log in to your XYZ Textbooks account and redeem the code.
Once you have an All-Access Pass, choose the eBook you need and add it to your Bookshelf.
Log in to your XYZ Textbooks account and enter the access code that came with your textbook or was provided to you. Once redeemed, you can access the available XYZ digital resources associated with your account.
If you have trouble redeeming your code, contact us before purchasing another code.
Yes! Your All-Access Pass gives you 3 years of access to all XYZ eBooks, not just one book.
To read an eBook, add the book you need to your Bookshelf.
If you previously entered the access code, you don't need to enter it again. Log in using the email address and password associated with your account.
If you purchased a used textbook, the access code may have already been redeemed by the previous owner. Access codes can only be used once. To get digital access, you will need to purchase an All-Access Pass, which provides three years of access to all XYZ eBooks and online resources.
If you purchased a new textbook and believe your access code should be valid, contact us for help.
Make sure you're using the email address you originally used to create your XYZ account. You may have registered with your school email address or a personal email address.
If you're still having trouble, contact us and we'll help find your account.
Did you buy a new shrinkwrapped copy from your campus bookstore? Great! Your access code will be printed on a media card insert attached to the first page. Did you buy it new from someone else online? Be careful. We assign a unique access code to each book. If the book is secondhand, there is a good chance the code has been used. If necessary, you can purchase a standalone All-Access Pass.
If your copy of the textbook has already been opened or used, your access code may not be active. You will need an All-Access Pass to view the eBook, worksheets, answer sets, exclusive MathTV video tutorials, and XYZ Homework (if your instructor is using it). If necessary, you can purchase an All-Access Pass.
We strongly encourage you to buy your book new (either directly from XYZ Textbooks or shrink-wrapped in your campus bookstore) because the All-Access Pass will be included in the textbook price. This will save you money!
Account Help
Select Forgot Password on the login page and enter the email address associated with your XYZ account. If you don't receive the reset email, check your spam or junk folder.
MathTV & XYZ Homework
MathTV is an incredible resource for instructors and students. Students benefit from seeing multiple approaches, and gain confidence in learning from their peers.
The MathTV library contains over 10,000 videos, from basic math through calculus. Almost every set of videos has one conducted in Spanish, by a native speaker. Video instruction is asynchronous, and allows students to repeat, rewind, and review.
XYZ Homework is an online homework system that works in conjunction with XYZ Textbooks. An All-Access Pass includes XYZ Homework at no additional cost.
Not necessarily. XYZ Homework is only needed if your instructor uses it for your course.
You can use an XYZ textbook or eBook without using XYZ Homework. Your instructor will let you know if online homework is required.
Instructor Help
